Senior Minister Lee to Visit the US and Deliver Lecture at Harvard University

SM Lee will engage with the Singaporean community and share insights on Singapore’s leadership and resilience.

Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong will be visiting the United States from November 10 to 18. During his trip, he is scheduled to deliver the annual Edwin L. Godkin Lecture at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Lecture and Activities in Boston
SM Lee’s visit will begin in Boston, Massachusetts, where he will present his lecture on November 12. The lecture, which will take place from 1:00 AM to 2:15 AM Singapore time on November 13, will be available for live streaming on his Facebook page.

In his talk, SM Lee will share his experiences and insights on building national leadership and institutions, as well as Singapore’s approach to securing its economy and international standing. He will also discuss Singapore’s efforts in maintaining social and political cohesion and the country’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. After the lecture, there will be a moderated conversation.

Engagement with Singaporean Community
Aside from the lecture, SM Lee will meet with the overseas Singaporean community in Boston, among other scheduled activities during his trip.
