Selected Bus and Train Services to Be Extended on Eve of Deepavali

Transport options will be available later to accommodate late-night commuters on October 30

Singapore’s public transport services will have extended operating hours on October 30, 2024, in anticipation of late-night commuters on the eve of Deepavali. SBS Transit announced that selected bus and train services would operate longer hours to assist those traveling later into the night.

Extended Train Services on the Eve of Deepavali
On the North East Line (NEL), the last train to Punggol will leave HarbourFront station at 12:30 AM, while the final train in the opposite direction will depart Punggol station at 12:02 AM. Similarly, the Downtown Line (DTL) will extend its hours, with the last train to Bukit Panjang leaving Expo station at 12:04 AM. The Sengkang-Punggol Light Rail Transit systems will also remain operational until the final NEL train reaches its respective stations.

Additional Bus Services
In addition to extended train services, 17 selected SBS Transit bus routes will also operate later on October 30, including services 60A, 63M, 114A, and 222. For example, the last buses for services 222, 225G, 228, and 229 will leave Bedok Interchange at 1:00 AM, while the final buses for services 804 and 812 will depart Yishun Interchange at 1:35 AM.

Go-Ahead Singapore’s Extended Bus Routes
Go-Ahead Singapore also announced extended operating hours for several of its bus routes. The last buses for services 358 and 359 will depart from Pasir Ris Interchange at 1:10 AM, while the final buses for services 83, 382G, and 386 will leave Punggol temporary bus interchange at 1:15 AM.
