Motorcyclist Killed in Accident with Lorry in Tuas; Driver Arrested

A 25-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after a collision with a lorry in Tuas, and the driver was arrested for causing death.

Singapore – A tragic accident on Wednesday morning claimed the life of a 25-year-old motorcyclist who collided with a lorry at the junction of Tuas View Link and Tuas View Walk 2.

The accident occurred at 7:45 am, and the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). The driver of the lorry, a 46-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of careless driving causing death.

A video shared on TikTok shortly after the incident showed the lorry stopped in the middle of the junction, with an SCDF ambulance parked beside it. A white tarpaulin was placed on the ground, likely to cover the motorcyclist’s body, with his motorcycle helmet and storage box lying nearby.

A group of workers was seen standing on the curb near the scene. Police are currently conducting investigations into the incident.
