A three-car accident near Fort Canning Tunnel leaves one man hospitalized and the tunnel closed temporarily.
A three-car accident occurred on Stamford Road, near Fort Canning Link, in the early hours of October 27, resulting in one person being hospitalized. Police responded to the incident at 1:30 am, where a red car was found flipped over, and a yellow car had significant damage to its bonnet. Photos posted on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page showed the extent of the crash.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed that one person, a 21-year-old male driver, was taken to Singapore General Hospital with injuries. Three other individuals were assessed for minor injuries but declined hospitalization. The accident caused temporary closure of the Fort Canning Tunnel, with a traffic advisory issued by the Land Transport Authority at 2:10 am.
