A 54-year-old woman was arrested following a hit-and-run accident in Kallang on November 19 that left a motorcyclist injured. The accident occurred at approximately 8:20 am at the junction of Sims Avenue and Sims Way, according to police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

Accident Details
The 58-year-old motorcyclist was transported to Raffles Hospital in a conscious state after the collision. A dashboard camera from another vehicle captured the incident, showing a silver car speeding through the junction against the apparent flow of traffic. The traffic light appeared to favor the motorcyclist.

Charges Against the Driver
The woman was arrested the following day for dangerous driving causing grievous hurt. Police confirmed she is also under investigation for failing to stop and render assistance after the accident.
