Luxury Cars Seized in $2.8B Money Laundering Case in Singapore

Four luxury vehicles, including a Porsche and two Rolls-Royces, removed from a bungalow linked to major laundering operation.

Singapore – In one of the world’s largest money laundering cases, the Singapore police have seized four luxury cars, including a Porsche 911 Targa and two Rolls-Royces, from a Good Class Bungalow (GCB) in Third Avenue, Bukit Timah. These vehicles are worth over $4.7 million and were removed from the property on October 25, 2023.

The cars—two Rolls-Royces, a Porsche, and a Toyota Alphard—were linked to Su Jianfeng, a Vanuatu national and one of the 10 suspects in the $2.8 billion money laundering investigation. The vehicles were towed by police, along with other luxury items such as 56 Bearbrick collectible figurines, which are valued at up to $500,000. These items are among more than 62 vehicles and 152 properties worth over $1.24 billion that have been subjected to prohibition of disposal orders.

Su, who rented the GCB, has been arrested for alleged involvement in the laundering activities. Investigations revealed that the company he claimed to work for, An Xing Technology, was a shell company. His assets, including 13 properties, $18.4 million in cash, and cryptocurrency worth $26 million, have been seized by authorities.

The money laundering case is believed to involve large-scale illegal activities, including links to an illegal gambling operation in China. Su and another accused individual, Wang Dehai, are wanted in China for their roles in the operation.
