Gaza Fund-Raiser Raises $4.6 Million in Two Weeks, Setting Record for RLAF

Charity fund-raiser reaches a record-breaking amount to support Gaza communities.

SINGAPORE – A fund-raiser organized by the Rahmatan Lil Alamin (Blessings to all) Foundation (RLAF) to support communities in Gaza has raised a record $4.6 million within just two weeks of its launch. The funds will provide critical aid, including healthcare supplies and shelter, for those affected by the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

Record-Breaking Contributions
As of Wednesday, the total amount raised was $4,614,283, surpassing RLAF’s previous record of $2.2 million raised for victims of the 2023 Turkey-Syria earthquake. The fund-raiser, which started on October 19, has been extended until November 17, after the Commissioner of Charities granted an extension of the permit.

Impact and Use of Funds
The funds will be distributed in collaboration with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. The money will support essential humanitarian aid for those impacted by the war, which has led to over 9,000 deaths in Gaza and widespread displacement.

Donation Channels
The public can contribute via PayNow, bank transfers to OCBC Bank, or by mailing cheques to RLAF or the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore.
