STSPMF partners with White Restaurant to sell tote bags featuring designs by beneficiaries.
In celebration of its 25th anniversary, White Restaurant, famous for its original Sembawang white beehoon, has partnered with The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (STSPMF) to create limited-edition tote bags. The bags, featuring designs by young beneficiaries of STSPMF, aim to raise funds for the initiative.
The tote bags are available in two designs, each created by STSPMF beneficiaries: Vivian Boo (15) and Urian Koh (14). Urian’s design is based on the restaurant’s iconic white beehoon dish, which he calls vibrant and his favorite. Vivian, along with Emma Lim (12), whose design features a postcard of the Golden Salted Egg Squid dish, contributed to the project.
Each tote bag is priced at $5.45 and comes with a $10 voucher. All proceeds from the sale will go towards STSPMF, with White Restaurant matching each sale with a $5 donation. A total of 500 bags per design are available across all eight White Restaurant outlets in Singapore.
STSPMF, which has supported over 220,000 children since its inception in 2000, provides pocket money to children from low-income families, helping them with school expenses and fostering their social and educational development. This collaboration not only highlights young artistic talent but also supports a worthy cause.
