Man Hospitalized After Three-Car Accident Near Fort Canning Tunnel

Incident Involved Overturned Car and Severe Vehicle Damage

SINGAPORE – A three-car collision near the Fort Canning Tunnel in the early hours of October 27 left one person hospitalized and caused significant damage to two vehicles.

The Singapore Police Force reported that the accident occurred at 1:30 am on Stamford Road heading towards Fort Canning Link. The victim, a 21-year-old driver, was transported to Singapore General Hospital for treatment and is assisting with ongoing investigations.

Accident Details
Photos shared on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page revealed the severity of the crash. A red car was seen overturned, while a yellow car suffered extensive damage to its front. Another image pinpointed the location of the accident near the tunnel.

An advisory posted by the Land Transport Authority Traffic News X page at 2:10 am informed motorists of the tunnel closure due to the accident.

Minor Injuries Reported
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that three other individuals involved in the crash sustained minor injuries but declined hospital treatment.

Authorities are continuing their investigations to determine the cause of the accident.
