Non-Stop Flights Between Singapore and Wenzhou to Begin on Dec 24

New direct route to connect Singapore and Wenzhou three times a week.

Starting December 24, 2024, Singapore travelers will be able to fly directly to Wenzhou in China’s Zhejiang province with the launch of a new non-stop route. The thrice-weekly service, operated by Shanghai Xihao Aviation Service and Zhejiang-based Loong Air, will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flight Schedule
The new flights will be operated on Loong Air’s Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight from Wenzhou will depart at 10:40 AM, arriving in Singapore at 3:55 PM, while the return flight will leave Singapore at 5:00 PM and reach Wenzhou by 10:00 PM.

Booking and Route Details
Bookings for the service can be made through online platforms like Ctrip or via Loong Air’s official website. The new route is expected to foster tourism, business, and cultural exchanges between Singapore and Wenzhou.

Wenzhou, renowned for its natural beauty, including the Yandang Mountains and scenic coastlines, is also known as the birthplace of China’s private sector. The new service aims to facilitate business, study, tourism, and family visits.

Growing Connectivity
Loong Air, which will operate this route, is expanding its international footprint, with 15 destinations by December 2024, including Almaty and Kuala Lumpur. This new route marks the first scheduled connection between Changi Airport and Wenzhou.

China remains a key market for Singapore’s Changi Airport, with over 5.7 million passengers flying between Singapore and China between January and September 2024. The new direct flight further strengthens Singapore’s aviation ties with China, where Changi will soon offer 30 non-stop destinations in January 2025.
