Police are investigating an incident in Yishun where the driver of a car fled after the vehicle flipped.
In a recent incident in Yishun, Singapore, police are currently investigating the case of a driver who disappeared after a car accident on the morning of November 21. The accident took place at the junction of Yishun Central 2 and Yishun Central at approximately 8:30 am. When police arrived at the scene, the driver had already fled, leaving behind a blue car that had flipped onto its side on the pavement. The vehicle sustained significant damage, with the bumper and headlight on the right side severely dented.
Photos of the aftermath, shared on social media, show a section of the pavement cordoned off as authorities investigated. It remains unclear why the driver left the scene.
This accident follows an unrelated incident just days earlier, on November 19, in which a car also flipped in Bras Basah. The vehicle, a white Volkswagen, was involved in an accident on Waterloo Street around 4:20 pm, hitting a parked car before overturning. A video of the aftermath shows the Volkswagen on its side with SCDF officers at the scene. One person sustained minor injuries but declined to go to the hospital.
The police continue to investigate both incidents, focusing on the cause of the accidents and the circumstances surrounding the missing driver in Yishun.
