A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a crash involving a black Mercedes and a motorcycle.
A 72-year-old female driver is currently assisting in police investigations after her car collided with a motorcycle on the West Coast Highway on November 15. The crash occurred at around 7:05 PM, and emergency services were alerted immediately.
A video shared on social media shows the motorcyclist, a 24-year-old woman, lying on the road as bystanders offer assistance. The footage also captures the aftermath, with a black Mercedes having sustained damage to its left side.
The motorcyclist was conscious when transported to the National University Hospital for treatment. Police investigations into the accident are still ongoing.
Motorcyclists remain one of the most vulnerable groups on the road, according to data from the Traffic Police.
